About the Juror for GOTG 2023:

Cynthia Amnéus is a Cincinnati native who serves as Chief Curator and Curator of Fashion Arts and Textiles at the Cincinnati Art Museum. In her more than 25-year career, she has curated diverse exhibitions and published both exhibition-related catalogs and a wide range of articles. A graduate of Edgecliff College of Xavier University and Illinois State University, her particular interests center on female designers in the late 19th and early 20th century and the impact of cross-cultural aesthetic exchange across time.

Recent exhibitions curated for the Cincinnati Art Museum include Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion, The Fabric of India organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Kimono: Refashioning Contemporary Style in collaboration with the Kyoto Costume Institute, and Simply Brilliant: Artist-Jewelers of the 1960s and 1970s.
